Pat Serby has had a love of collecting books and reading, from the time she was a young girl. Often she would find her parents, both in their living room, each reading a book quietly. They influenced her love of literature and books. Later in life, when she found she had important stories to write, she put pen to paper and never stopped.
Pat lives in Manhattan, where she has lived for most of her life. She has been a real estate broker in residential sales in Manhattan for over thirty years. Her daughter, Jennifer Lauren, is also successful in residential real estate sales in Manhattan. Pat Serby graduated from NYU with a BS in business.
Her interest in her family genealogy, led her to doing extensive research. From that research, the ideas of two of her three books came to her, while looking at old photographs of her ancestors.
Some of Pat’s hobbies are photography, travel and baking some of the famous intricate pastries and cakes she first tasted while traveling.
